Our Deschutes Series reels will blow your mind with their high-precision finish and smooth, silent operation! The Deschutes II is a precision machined aluminum reel for 5 and 6 weight lines. FFB Deschutes reels are crafted from the finest solid block T6061 aircraft aluminum. The reel comes in two finishes: Gold and Titanium. Reel features include: Silent Retrieve System complete corrosion resistance low-maintenance enclosed disc drag one-way roller bearing easy drag adjustment counter-balanced spool mid-arbor design quick change design for right/left-hand retrieve. You will not find a better value in a fly reel at twice the price. The reel comes with a Full Limited Warranty and a custom-fitted, black denier reel pouch embroidered with the FFB Logo. The Deschutes II Spool Diameter is 3.425 inches. The Arbor Size is 1.692 inches. The Spool Width is 0.944 inches. The reel weight is 5.996 ounces and the cubic volume of the reel is a mere 6.550 cubic inches. The Deschutes II Fly Reel will hold approximately 50-yards of 20-pound braided fly line backing loaded by hand or 50-80 yards of Gelspun or 10-pound backing loaded by winder.
You have the option to add a spare spool to this reel purchase for a special price of $35 (a $15 savings of the regular price if purchased separately).
